Salary: MPS/UPS: £30,000 - £46,525 per annum
Contract Type: Full-Time

GSL Education is seeking exceptional educators who possess the ability to motivate and engage students aged 11 – 18, fostering a love for learning and academic success. The successful candidate will serve as an ICT Educator at a reputable secondary institution.

Requirements for ICT Educator:

  • A degree in Information and Communication Technology along with a recognized UK teaching qualification, specifically a PGCE in secondary ICT with QTS.
  • Internationally qualified educators evaluated by NARIC are encouraged to submit their applications.
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching ICT within a secondary school environment.
  • Familiarity with ICT tools and software pertinent to educational practices.
  • Commitment to participate in professional development sessions and parent engagement evenings as necessary.
  • Possess an enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered with the update service or be prepared to apply for a new one through GSL Education.

Responsibilities of the ICT Educator:

  • Design, prepare, and deliver captivating ICT lessons tailored to meet the diverse learning requirements of students.
  • Integrate relevant digital technologies and software applications into lessons to enrich the educational experience.
  • Enhance students' ICT competencies, including digital literacy, coding, multimedia production, and data management.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create and implement a cohesive ICT curriculum across various educational stages.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay informed about advancements in ICT education and teaching strategies.

This role necessitates a comprehensive understanding of safeguarding and child protection. Successful candidates must complete all necessary background checks, including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
