Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Academic Instructor to join our Construction Team at Fife College. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality learning experiences to our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students in achieving their learning goals through effective teaching and learning strategies.
  • Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the curricular area, working collaboratively with team members and the Academic and Quality Manager to recruit students and evaluate learning and teaching.
  • Support the achievement of operational and strategic objectives set out in the College Regional Outcome Agreement.
  • Deliver training over a broad range, from workshop skills to theory-based units, using a variety of teaching methods and technologies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualification to SVQ Level 4/5 in the relevant vocational area or the highest-level qualification in the relevant discipline.
  • Relevant current academic experience or demonstrable experience and practiced skills following vocational qualification.
  • Experience in using AutoCad Revit and Adobe Photoshop software.
  • Knowledge of Green Technologies, Retrofit, and PAS.
  • Effective communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
