Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Catering Assistant to join our team at University Hospital Crosshouse. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing excellent food and beverage services to patients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation, delivery, and service to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Work collaboratively with the Catering Production & Services Team to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, staff, and visitors.
- Operate the till and manage cash transactions accurately.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Good communication and practical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Desirable: current Food Hygiene Certificate or willingness to obtain within the first 3 months of employment.
- Previous experience in a large-scale catering environment is an advantage, but full training will be provided.
