About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Officer to join our esteemed team at Securitas Security Services. As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their premises.

This is a Monday to Friday shift pattern role, requiring a commitment of 60 hours per week. A valid SIA license is essential, reflecting our commitment to excellence in the security domain. Reliable transportation links are also a must.

As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Manning the property, premises, customers, clients, and colleagues of our clients.
  • Monitoring fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV systems.
  • Conducting regular patrols across the site to ensure a secure environment.
  • Escorting visitors across the site when necessary.
  • Creating a trusted and respected security presence.
  • Retaining control of any threatening behavior until the arrival of the police or other external agencies.
  • Monitoring loss and waste, reporting any incidents.
  • Serving as the first point of contact for all colleagues, customers, and clients.
Essential Skills
  • SIA License
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to remain alert and focused
  • Proficiency in PC skills (desirable)
