Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Plant Trainer, the Mobile Equipment Operator will be responsible for ensuring that operational activities are executed efficiently, adhering to the specified program and standards. Daily responsibilities will encompass:
- Operating mobile equipment such as loading shovels, telehandlers, dumpers, and tracked vehicles.
- Conducting pre-use inspections and maintaining equipment as per role requirements.
- Performing routine maintenance on machinery following company and manufacturer guidelines.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations and legislative requirements.
- Understanding and managing risks associated with construction activities safely.
- Prioritizing personal and team safety in all operational tasks.
- Accurately completing timesheets and ensuring they are approved by site management.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Proven experience in operating mobile equipment is essential.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey project requirements.
- A proactive approach to ensure timely project completion within budget.
- A strong team-oriented mindset.
Additionally, candidates must hold an MPQC/CPCS Card, as applications without this certification cannot be considered.
