Principal Social Worker Opportunity

About the Role

As a Principal Social Worker, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive and complex parenting assessments, working collaboratively with families and other professionals to gather information and develop robust reports. You will also provide expert advice and guidance to social workers in the assessment process, champion high-quality practice through supervision and mentoring colleagues, and contribute to the development and implementation of effective service delivery strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct high-quality parenting assessments using evidence-based frameworks
  • Work collaboratively with families and other professionals to gather information and develop reports
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to social workers
  • Champion high-quality practice through supervision and mentoring
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service delivery strategies
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified Social Worker (ASW) with a minimum of 5 years' experience in children and family social work. You will also need to have proven expertise in conducting high-quality parenting assessments, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous learning.
