Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team at Permanent Futures. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing faults on vehicles, as well as carrying out scheduled maintenance and warranty work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend customer sites to diagnose and repair faults on vehicles
  • Carry out scheduled maintenance on vehicles to ensure they are running efficiently and effectively
  • Perform warranty and campaign work on site, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
  • Maintain accurate records of all work completed, including documentation and validation of vehicles' mechanical and electrical systems

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience as an automotive service engineer, preferably with experience servicing a range of vehicles, including HGVs
  • Good knowledge of engines, drivetrains, and 24v vehicle wiring systems and practices
  • Understanding of CAN networks and diagnostics
  • Excellent mechanical and electrical servicing skills, with the ability to fault find on automotive systems
