Job Title: Senior Lighting Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Lighting Engineer to join our Transportation team. As a Senior Lighting Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering technical consultancy and design support related to multi-disciplinary and exterior lighting projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver technical consultancy and design support for exterior lighting projects.
  • Engage with customers and stakeholders to develop innovative low-carbon solutions.
  • Support the Team Leader and other teams with technical solutions, reports, and project management.
  • Assign and check project work of other staff.
  • Promote sustainable lighting solutions.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in delivering exterior lighting and electrical solutions.
  • Proven ability to apply lighting standards and experience to deliver client requirements.
  • Proficient in discipline-related design software, particularly AutoCAD and BIM-related plugins.
  • Substantial experience of National Highways (NH) and/or local authority requirements.
  • Proven ability to act as discipline lead on multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Ability to supervise a small team undertaking checks and inspections of constructed works.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement at senior client and contractor levels.
  • Experience of undertaking daytime and night-time lighting surveys and assessments.
