The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a warehouse role, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. They will also possess excellent attention to detail, good IT and general administration skills, including Microsoft Office, and be able to lift heavy objects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Warehouse Operations

• Maintaining a safe and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment and materials are properly stored and accounted for.

• Picking and packing orders, tracking deliveries, and updating stock lists to ensure smooth warehouse operations.

• Conducting regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy and quality of stock.

• Collaborating with the purchasing team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials and equipment.

Purchasing and Logistics

• Raising purchase orders for long-lead items, 2nd fix kits, and sub-contractor orders, ensuring all requests are within project budgets.

• Liaising with project managers to gather quotes and prices for non-standard items, and coordinating with couriers to deliver items to site.

• Counting and verifying stock against schematics and shopping lists, and prioritizing workload to meet urgent and less urgent project deadlines.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or purchasing role
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Good IT and administration skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects
