Position: Power BI Developer

Location: London

  • We are looking for a dedicated team player with experience in the insurance sector and knowledge of Managing General Agents (MGA).
  • Join a small, dynamic, and cooperative team.
  • This is a full-time role with hybrid working arrangements and opportunities for travel across mainland Europe.

Role Overview:

The Power BI Developer position at Howden involves enhancing the reporting capabilities across various offices. The ideal candidate will possess experience in the insurance domain, proactively collaborating with key stakeholders to develop reports that align with business requirements. This role is vital in delivering insights to diverse teams to facilitate business expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute reports utilizing Power BI.
  • Develop intuitive reports and dashboards, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with international data analysts.
  • Investigate discrepancies, test data integrity and quality, and offer user support.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Power BI and its associated technologies.
  • Strong SQL capabilities and experience in ETL processes using various data sources.
  • Ability to efficiently manipulate, cleanse, and transform data.
  • Experience working in an agile setting and familiarity with Salesforce.
  • A collaborative team player with exceptional presentation and organizational skills.
