Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Adult Nursing Manager to become part of a reputable and innovative organization specializing in comprehensive care solutions for adults within the community.
Location:
This role will be situated in a vibrant community setting, where our organization is experiencing significant growth and expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will take charge of delivering personalized support to adult clients and their families, developing tailored care plans that address individual needs.
You will collaborate closely with a dedicated team of caregivers, providing training and guidance to enhance their clinical competencies and daily activities.
Essential Criteria:
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC PIN
- A management approach that fosters a supportive environment
- Recent experience in tracheostomy care and ventilator management within the last two years
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Suitable for Band 5 / Band 6 Nurses with proven leadership and management experience of Healthcare Assistants (HCAs)
- A full UK Driving Licence is preferred but not mandatory.
Core Duties:
- Design and implement individualized care plans tailored to client requirements
- Manage the multidisciplinary team (MDT) through effective communication and collaboration
- Provide continuous monitoring, support, and assessment of clients' physical and psychological needs within your caseload
- Administer nursing interventions, including medication management
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients' families
- Collaborate with community teams, Continuing Healthcare (CHC) nurses, and Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) commissioners to develop and sustain customized care packages.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary up to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience
- Flexible working arrangement with one day from home per week and four days in the community
- Standard working hours from Monday to Friday (9 AM - 5 PM)
