Job Summary

The Sample Receipt and Labelling Specialist will be the first point of contact for samples arriving at the SGS site. The job holder is primarily responsible for sample receipt and sample labelling. They will play a key part in ensuring customer samples are received in full and without any issues. Providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and process customer samples in accordance with company procedures
  • Label and track samples accurately and efficiently
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to internal and external customers
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth sample receipt and labelling operations

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good planning and organizing skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Scientific background or equivalent experience
  • HND or equivalent experience
  • Experience of working within the food industry
  • Experience of AIS LIMS
