About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Office of Development and Alumni Relations (ODAR) team at the University of Southampton, delivering strategic content to our alumni and supporter community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the communications function within ODAR by creating, managing, delivering, and evaluating Alumni and Supporter engagement content across multiple channels to strengthen relationships with university alumni and supporters.
  • Take ownership of our regular social media activity and coordinate photoshoots and working with videographers to develop compelling video content.
  • Support digital advertising campaigns and manage our regular alumni newsletter.
  • Ensure all our communications pieces fit within our brand guidelines.

About You

You'll have a strong understanding of communications and marketing, with a passion for creating strong content.

Your communication skills will be exemplary, as will your ability to work well with people at all levels.

You need to be proactive, seeking out stories to deliver timely, relevant content to our alumni and supporters.
