We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Support Officer to join our team at Head Resourcing Ltd. As a Senior IT Support Officer, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and ensuring the helpdesk is appropriately staffed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of engineers and ensure the helpdesk is adequately staffed to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Provide technical support to our clients at both 2nd and 3rd line levels, ensuring that their IT needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Customise desktop configurations, group policies, and user profiles to align with organisational requirements and standards.
  • Configure, deploy, integrate, and troubleshoot desktop operating systems (e.g. Windows 10/11) and common applications (e.g., O365 - Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
  • Knowledge of desktop imaging solutions to streamline deployment processes.
  • Knowledge of tools such as Intune/SCCM or similar.
  • Familiarity with desktop virtualisation technologies such as Windows Virtual Desktop / Remote Desktop Services. VMWare Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps or similar.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading a team of engineers and ensuring the helpdesk is adequately staffed.
  • Experience in providing technical support to clients at both 2nd and 3rd line levels.
