Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic English teacher to lead our English department as a Head of English. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will play a crucial part in shaping the future success of our school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the English department to achieve outstanding results and improve student outcomes
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to enhance teacher performance and student engagement
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to build and implement planned structures to drive school improvement
  • Identify areas for improvement within the staff team and provide targeted training and development opportunities
  • Work closely with teachers to ensure they have the necessary resources and support to deliver high-quality lessons
