Job Summary

Expleo Group UK Jobs is seeking a skilled Automotive Body Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering part and system design tasks for trim within cost, quality, and timings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement innovative design solutions for trim parts, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical, business, and quality-related issues.
  • Lead and support communication and negotiation with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve design processes and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Minimum HNC/HND or international equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Proven experience working within trim parts, with a strong understanding of automotive engineering principles and practices.
  • Extensive experience in automotive, preferably within a Tier One or OEM environment.
  • Proficiency in the use of NX or similar CAD software.
  • Current valid driving license for the UK.
