About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solicitor to join our Property Litigation team, specializing in Agricultural Property Litigation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and representation to clients on a range of agricultural property litigation matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing excellent client service and developing relationships with clients
  • Responsible for matters under supervision, including drafting correspondence and court papers
  • Liaising and corresponding with clients, the Court, instructing counsel and experts
  • Attending court hearings and other all-party meetings
  • Providing support to other team members as required and demonstrating an appropriate level of management and supervision of junior members of the team
  • Developing knowledge, experience, and expertise in the subject areas
  • Demonstrating the experience and knowledge to deliver good quality legal advice
  • Working as part of the team and with other teams at Harrison Drury
  • Promoting the values of Harrison Drury both internally and externally
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-5 years PQE within a property litigation department advising and representing clients on a range of matters
  • Experience of agricultural property litigation matters or a desire and interest to work within this sector
  • Strong attention to detail and good organization and planning skills with the ability to prioritize work to meet timescales
  • Excellent communication and IT skills
  • Excellent client-facing skills and a good understanding of real property and landlord and tenant law as well as property contract and professional negligence
