Automation Project Manager

Automation Experts Ltd is seeking an experienced Automation Project Manager to join their team in the Glasgow area. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of projects, working closely with customers, engineers, and suppliers to deliver high-quality industrial automation services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project plans, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Systems Manager and Service Manager to monitor project progress and ensure adherence to technical standards.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, delegating tasks to engineers and ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Manage project budgets and milestone payments, ensuring control and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Review and assess engineering aspects of projects, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to drive team performance and manage project timescales.
  • Proven experience in project management, with a track record of delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong technical knowledge of industrial automation systems and processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including customers, engineers, and suppliers.
