Job Title:

Mechanical Project Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team at Mechanical Partners. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in supporting CAPEX process enhancements and plant improvement schemes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of project engineers, design engineers, and contractors to deliver engineering and technology support, adhering to health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Deputise for the Projects Manager when required.
  • Develop and implement engineering solutions to improve plant efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements:
  • Relevant plant experience within the steel industry is desirable, but experience within the paper, nuclear, oil & gas, construction industries will also be considered.
  • Strong understanding of risk management and construction regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
