Damp and Mould Surveyor Role

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Damp and Mould Surveyor to join our team on a temporary ongoing basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting surveys in customers' homes, diagnosing causes of damp, mould, or disrepair, and instructing and managing the required rectification works.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Conduct surveys in customers' homes to identify damp, mould, or disrepair issues
* Diagnose causes of damp, mould, or condensation and recommend rectification works
* Instruct and manage the identified works within budget, utilizing internal repairs teams and external contractors as needed
* Agree variations with contractors as required during the progress of the works
* Provide excellent customer service and work with customers to prevent re-occurrence of damp and mould
* Ensure compliance with Construction Design Management (CDM) regulations

**Requirements:**

* Educated to a minimum of HNC or equivalent
* Full valid UK driving licence
* Understanding of housing health and safety systems (HHSRS)
