Job Title: Managing Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our team at MBS Recruitment Solutions Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a large design package of works worth circa £70m, encompassing a portfolio of civil engineering schemes including bridges, viaducts, and underpasses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Commercial Manager in managing the design package and overseeing all opportunity and risk management
  • Lead a collaborative working relationship with all parties involved, including external stakeholders
  • Be proactive in identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring effective contract administration
  • Work closely with the project team to ensure successful project delivery
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Managing Quantity Surveyor in a similar role
  • Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
