We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced academic to join our team as a Lecturer in Financial Accounting. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education in financial accounting to our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver inspiring module materials and learning activities in financial accounting
  • Contribute to the development of the School of Accounting, Finance and Economics' curriculum design, including inclusive approaches to setting and marking assessment
  • Participate in research activities and contribute to REF submissions
  • Work with diverse cohorts of students and challenge them to fulfill their potential

About the Role:

The Lecturer in Financial Accounting will be based at the Old Royal Naval College at Greenwich, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The successful candidate will be part of a research group and will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of the School's research activities.

Requirements:

  • PhD in Financial Accounting or a related field
  • Proven experience in teaching financial accounting at a higher education institution
  • Strong research skills and a growing reputation in the field of financial accounting
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the development of the School's research activities
