Job Title: Health and Social Care Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Health and Social Care Teacher to join our dynamic department. As a Health and Social Care Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching GCSE Health and Social Care to students at KS3/4 level.

About the Role:
  • Teach GCSE Health and Social Care to students at KS3/4 level
  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans to promote student learning and achievement
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement departmental policies and procedures

The school is a successful, high-attaining 11-18 mixed comprehensive with 1250 students located in Hereford. We have an excellent reputation locally and in the wider community for academic achievement and the quality of our pastoral care and support.

Requirements:
  • PGCE or QTS in Health and Social Care or a related subject
  • Experience of teaching GCSE Health and Social Care
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging lessons
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
