The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Developer to join our team. As an Embedded Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient real-time systems, understanding and applying new and emerging technologies, and working on diverse projects spanning a range of domains including Array Processing, Communications, and Sensors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement efficient real-time systems using C and/or C++ for embedded development
  • Understand and apply new and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement
  • Work on diverse projects spanning a range of domains, including Array Processing, Communications, and Sensors

Requirements

  • Expertise in C and/or C++ for embedded development
  • Experience of unit and system testing
  • Expertise in embedded Linux platform development
  • Experience of modern DevOps practices, including version control and continuous integration
  • Knowledge of latest System on Chip (SoC) devices

Desirable Skills

  • Expertise in development and implementation of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms
  • Experience of modelling/simulating algorithms using MATLAB
  • Expertise in FPGA firmware development using VHDL
  • Knowledge of latest open source frameworks OpenCPI
  • Knowledge of latest Software Defined Radio (SDR) platforms
