About the Role

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a long-term freelance contract. As a Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be working on a large-scale highway project, providing commercial support and managing subcontractor packages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procure and manage subcontractors on large-scale highway projects
  • Produce and agree monthly applications in line with the terms of agreement
  • Produce thorough monthly reports and CVR's in accordance with project or business unit specifications
  • Analyse and assess expenditure reports generated by internal cost systems

Requirements

  • Strong experience in the procurement of subcontractors on large-scale highway projects
  • NEC3/4 contract experience
  • Previous employment with Tier One contractors
  • Degree qualifications desired, but not essential
