  4. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate design risks and provide solutions to potential issues that may arise during the design and construction phases.
  5. Document Control: Oversee and manage the production, review, and approval of all design documentation, ensuring that the latest revisions are used on site.
  6. Cost-Effective Solutions: Propose and implement cost-effective design solutions while maintaining the highest quality standards.
  7. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor junior design staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional growth.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a Design Manager, ideally within a Tier 1 Contractor or a Main Contracting environment.
  2. Experience in commercial construction projects, including office buildings, retail developments, and industrial units is ideal.
  3. Strong understanding of construction processes, design management procedures, and building regulations.
  4. Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering solutions that meet project requirements.
  5. Proficiency in design software and tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other industry-standard programs.
