Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Assurance Manager to join our team at Pilgrims Europe. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing supplier approval and assurance for food suppliers, driving continuous improvement in food safety, quality, and integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Risk assess and approve new suppliers to ensure they meet our high standards of food safety and quality.
- Monitor supplier performance and risk continuously, reporting findings and driving supplier improvement.
- Approve and manage the risk of our packaging suppliers for the whole of Pilgrims Europe.
- Develop and implement effective supplier assurance strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new suppliers and effective management of existing ones.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in supply chain assurance, food safety, and quality management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to food safety and quality.
