Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Porter/Caretaker to join our team at Abbatt Property Recruitment. As a key member of our residential support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being in their homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily tasks and errands, such as grocery shopping, package delivery, and transportation to appointments.
  • Organize and coordinate maintenance and repair services for residents, including scheduling contractors and accompanying them into residents' homes as needed.
  • Provide general assistance with household tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and light bulb replacement.
  • Run errands and perform tasks on behalf of residents, such as picking up dry cleaning, dropping off dry cleaning, and assisting with pet care.
  • Assist residents with mobility and accessibility issues, such as moving furniture and assisting with household chores.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including water plant care and package handling.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, if necessary.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
