HGV Class Two Driver Job Description

Silver Arrow Perm is seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class Two driver for an ongoing tipper work position based in the Irlam area.

This role involves driving Scania, MAN, or Volvo trucks, carrying aggregates and building supplies, and performing manual tasks such as sweeping out the trailer. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of HGV experience and 1 year of tipper experience, with a valid HGV Class Two licence and in-date CPC and Digi.

The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, with an average shift length of 8-10 hours. The pay rate is £16.20 per hour for PAYE.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive HGV2 trucks for tipper work
  • Carry aggregates and building supplies
  • Perform manual tasks such as sweeping out the trailer
  • Work Monday to Friday with an average shift length of 8-10 hours

Requirements:

  • HGV Class Two licence
  • In-date CPC and Digi
  • Minimum 2 years of HGV experience
  • Minimum 1 year of tipper experience
  • Muck away experience required
