Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Shunter Driver to join our team at ABP Kingswinford. As a Shunter Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of trailers within our site, ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers.

Main Responsibilities
  • Shunt trailers across both sites, utilizing your time effectively to meet demands.
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.
  • Champion health and safety cultures within the yard, promoting a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Record and monitor trailer temperatures to ensure product quality and safety.
  • Maintain a high level of yard security and cleanliness, adhering to company standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the planning team to ensure efficient trailer movement and timely delivery of products.
Requirements
  • Valid Category C+E driving license or shunters license.
  • Hardworking and dedicated approach to work.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative while working as part of a team.
