Vanta Staffing Limited is proud to partner with a leading food production company that has experienced remarkable growth in both wholesale and ecommerce sectors. They are seeking a skilled professional to contribute to their ambitious expansion plans.
Key Responsibilities of the Facilities Maintenance Engineer include:
- Conducting routine inspections of the entire facility, including equipment and production machinery in the food processing sector.
- Performing both reactive and scheduled maintenance on food processing equipment, including chillers, mixers, conveyor systems, and more.
- Leading, managing, and inspiring a team of multi-skilled engineers.
- Coordinating maintenance activities to prioritize urgent repairs effectively.
- Ensuring the successful execution of planned maintenance initiatives.
- Contributing to the overall health and safety standards of the facility.
- Assisting with all installation projects related to the building's infrastructure.
- Providing recommendations for operational improvements.
- Monitoring, ordering, and managing inventory supplies.
- Ensuring compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) regarding health and safety.
- Typical working hours: Monday to Friday, day shifts from 6am to 3pm

Required Qualifications and Attributes:
- Demonstrated experience in supervising a multi-skilled engineering team, preferably within the food production industry.

- Ability to read, interpret, and execute engineering drawings and instructions.
- Experience in performing multi-skilled repairs in mechanical and/or electrical/electronic engineering settings.
- Relevant qualifications in mechanical, pneumatic, or electrical engineering.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience in manufacturing environments.
- Commitment to quality, safety, and effective management of the workplace.
- Proficient command of the English language.
- Professional, enthusiastic, and courteous demeanor.
