At StandardAero, we're committed to excellence in aviation repair and maintenance. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of gas turbine engine components to ensure they meet OEM manual limits and production schedule requirements.
- Implement quality procedures, health and safety protocols, and industry regulations to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
- Complete all necessary documentation related to the repair and inspection process.
- Verify that all specifications and requirements are met, using only approved materials and parts.
- Operate CNC Co-Ordinate Measuring Machines and other precision equipment to ensure accurate measurements and inspections.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve class fits with machined features and ensure all repair routing paperwork is completed and filed correctly.
- Adhere to our Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety Management Systems (SMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and all associated Business Manuals.
Competencies:
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues.
- Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment and follow a given production schedule.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to read and use precision measuring equipment.
- Knowledge of geometry and trigonometry is advantageous.
