About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical First Assistant to join our team at Circle Health Group. As a key member of our perioperative care team, you will play a vital role in delivering safe and high-quality care to our patients during their surgical journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the delivery of patient care, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.
  • Support the management and organisation of care provision within the Operating Department.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
  • Develop and enhance the skills and knowledge of others, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Apply and promote best evidence-based practice within your scope of practice, ensuring that care is delivered in accordance with the latest guidelines and standards.
  • Maintain knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act, ensuring that appropriate measures are taken to protect patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Achieve agreed objectives, demonstrating Circle Health Group's values of selflessness, compassion, commitment, collaboration, bravery, agility, tenacity, and creativity.
