Senior Warehouse Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Warehouse Manager to join our team at Kevin Theobald Recruitment Agency. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the logistics, supply chain, and customs bonded industry, with extensive knowledge of air and ocean import/export operations and compliance with CAA and Air Export legislations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage three warehouse managers responsible for day-to-day operations.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development opportunities to warehouse staff.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration between teams.
  • Oversee air and ocean import/export operations, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
  • Manage logistics warehouse distribution to optimize inventory management and order fulfillment.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including CAA and Air Export legislations.
  • Maintain and manage customs bonded warehouse operations in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and monitor compliance programs and procedures.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve warehouse processes and systems.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Lead initiatives to improve safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in warehouse management within the logistics, supply chain, or customs bonded industry.
  • Extensive knowledge of air and ocean import/export operations.
  • Strong understanding of CAA and Air Export legislations and compliance requirements.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for reporting and data analysis.
  • Experience in creating PowerPoint presentations for customer meetings.
  • Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
