We are seeking a highly skilled EU/UK qualified attorney for a temporary position at a prominent technology firm. This full-time hybrid role will focus on providing legal expertise in the realm of content regulation.

Position Overview:

As a key member of the legal department, you will play a crucial role in supporting the expanding Trust and Safety division, addressing intricate legal challenges and facilitating the application of significant legislation across the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing guidance on legal frameworks and regulations concerning content and safety, particularly the Digital Services Act in the EU, with an emphasis on compliance and data access requirements.
  • Supporting the Trust and Safety division by advising on issues related to content moderation, content policies, and legal matters pertaining to user safety across the EMEA area.
  • Collaborating with the Government Relations team to assist with regulatory interactions.
  • Working closely with the Litigation team, as well as product, public policy, and communications teams, to develop regulatory and policy strategies, manage external communications, and conduct investigations.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 8 years' post-qualification experience as an EU/UK qualified attorney, preferably with a specialization in content regulation, safety, and compliance.
