Seed Recruitment Consultants Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Home Manager to lead our client's small, 30-bed healthcare facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the home, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
Main Responsibilities
- Leadership and Management
- Oversee the performance of the facility, ensuring high-quality standards of care and operational efficiency.
- Manage budgets and profitability, ensuring the facility operates within financial constraints.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve occupancy rates and marketing efforts.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure adherence to the Care Standards 2008 (England) and other relevant regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, such as the CQC, to ensure compliance and address any issues that may arise.
- Staff Management
- Recruit, train, and develop a skilled and dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration among staff members to provide high-quality care to residents.
- Quality Assurance
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure the facility meets the highest standards of care.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of these processes, making adjustments as needed.
Requirements
- Qualifications: RGN/RMN
- Experience: Proven track record in healthcare management, preferably in a similar facility.
- Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
