About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Scientific Services Director to lead our Medical Communications team at Springer Nature. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of our business unit and ensuring the delivery of high-quality scientific content to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of our scientific services team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Develop and implement business plans to drive growth and revenue.
  • Manage client relationships and ensure delivery of high-quality scientific content.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives.
  • Provide commercial, medical communications, and strategic marketing expertise to support business development activities.

  • Strong scientific knowledge in a broad range of therapeutic areas.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
