Job Title: Building Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Surveyor to join our team in Glasgow. As a key member of our Technical Team, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of Building Surveying services, including dilapidations, schedules of condition, condition surveys, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Building Surveying services to a high standard, ensuring compliance with statutory and legislative requirements.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of an Asset Management Rating system.
  • Ensure Health and Safety and risk management procedures are understood and adhered to.
  • Procure services and works contracts while achieving best value.
  • Contract administer projects from inception to completion.
  • Prepare and manage planned preventative maintenance programmes.
  • Stock condition rating of the investment portfolio on a rolling programme.
  • Improve sustainability and energy performance of the investment portfolio.
Requirements:
  • Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) qualification.
  • Experience working on a diverse portfolio of non-domestic assets.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills, with a proven track record in all aspects of building surveying.
  • Experience in preparation of property option reports for potential development opportunities.
  • Knowledge of current statutory and legislative requirements.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and report writing skills.
  • Excellent time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent Client management skills.
  • Skilled in the use of information technology, including Microsoft programmes.

This is a hybrid role, with the team based in Glasgow. In return, you will receive a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.
