Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Contracts Manager to oversee national HVAC/Mechanical service and maintenance contracts for our client, a leading Mechanical and Electrical specialist based in the North West region. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing existing contracts, securing new remedial work, and driving growth through tenders and new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Management: Oversee and manage national HVAC/Mechanical service and maintenance contracts to ensure contractual obligations are met and high-quality service delivery is maintained.
- Contract Development: Develop and grow existing contracts through performance improvement and relationship management, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Tendering and Business Development: Identify and tender for new remedial contracts to expand the business portfolio, collaborating with operational teams to ensure efficient scheduling and resource allocation.
- Contract Performance Monitoring: Monitor contract performance, financials, and KPIs to ensure profitability and adherence to budget, providing accurate reports on contract progress and financials.
- Client Relationships: Regularly liaise with clients to address any issues or concerns, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure contracts adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations, identifying and mitigating potential risks to the business.
Requirements:
- Proven Contract Management Experience: A minimum of 3 years' experience in contract management, preferably in the HVAC/Mechanical industry.
- Strong Business Acumen: Excellent business skills, with the ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Contract Law Knowledge: A good understanding of contract law and regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance and mitigate potential risks.
