Job Summary:

Zensar Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Oracle Database Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our database administration team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance Oracle databases in a Linux-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Oracle databases for high-volume, heavy transactional environments
  • Perform database administration tasks, including SQL code review, performance analysis, query tuning, and database application design
  • Develop and implement database monitoring jobs in PL/SQL
  • Work with enterprise teams to ensure seamless database operations and maintenance
  • Establish database standards for operations, upgrades, migrations, and onboarding new applications and/or clients
  • Develop and drive database administration strategies and initiatives as per the needs of the team

Requirements:

  • Expert-level experience with Linux Operating System Administration using Intel-based servers
  • Experience level of 4-6 years
  • Hands-on experience with Administration of Oracle 11g DBMS in Oracle-base environment with high volume, heavy transactional environment
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle 11g Performance Tuning in Linux-based environment
  • Good understanding of the Linux/UNIX environments
  • Deep understanding of relational database design
  • Experience in SQL server/MySQL Administration is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in setting up, installing, and managing multisite databases using Oracle Goldengate replication
  • Experience with cloud databases platforms on Linux environments
  • Ability to quickly diagnose problem areas and produce solutions and/or workarounds
  • Strong time leadership skills with willingness and ability to prioritize multiple projects/initiatives at the same time
  • Initiative-taking with strong team, interpersonal, and communication skills
