Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tramper Driver to join our team at Gregory Group. As a Tramper Driver, you will be responsible for collecting and delivering customers' products on a curtain-sided or flatbed trailer, ensuring load security using ratchet straps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and deliver customers' products on a curtain-sided or flatbed trailer, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Use a handheld PDA to complete paperwork and manage daily tasks.
  • Plan routes on a day-to-day basis, ensuring efficient delivery and collection of products.
  • Maintain regular contact with the transport team to update on progress and manage customer expectations.
  • Attend regular training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid UK Class 1 CE Licence.
  • Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
  • Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
  • Work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Be a confident, polite, and team-oriented individual.
  • Have good geographical knowledge and be flexible with working hours.
  • Be fit, hardworking, and self-motivated.
