Electro-Mechanical Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electro-Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Loop Technology Limited. As an Electro-Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in the creation and management of electro-mechanical system design, including control systems, from concept through to production, installation, and test.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage system and subsystem product requirements
  • Conceive and develop multiple design approaches to a sufficient level of maturity to allow each to be assessed against those requirements and ranked to allow an optimal design approach to be selected for product development, build and test
  • Participate in and contribute to the creation and maintenance of design specifications and design rationale documents which support design decisions
  • Lead technical peer and cross-functional mechanical design reviews, to ensure that all proposed designs are evaluated against and meet the product design requirements of the projects to which they are assigned
  • Visit client sites, across a number of different sectors, including defence

Requirements:

  • British Citizen
  • Able to obtain security clearance
