About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physical Education Coach to join our team at First Step Sports Ltd. As a PE Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality PE lessons to primary school-aged pupils, promoting a love of sports and physical activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and challenging PE lessons to pupils of various ages and abilities.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of our pupils and align with our company's delivery standards.
- Assess pupil performance and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective PE program.
- Travel to various locations and settings to deliver PE lessons and support our clients.
Requirements
- At least a NGB Level 2 Coaching Badge or equivalent.
- 2 years' coaching experience, preferably in a school setting.
- A good knowledge of at least 3 areas of the curriculum, including Games, Dance, Gymnastics, Athletics, and OAA.
- Experience creating and following lesson plans, as well as assessing pupil performance.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Risk Assessment experience and a commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of our pupils.
- GCSE Maths and English, with a willingness to undergo further training and development.
