A&P Tyne CSWIP Welding Inspector

We are seeking a skilled and certified CSWIP Welding Inspector to conduct visual examinations of our welded components to ensure they meet specifications for our customers.

The successful candidate will work with our team to ensure visual weld inspections are completed on time and to a high standard, identifying good and unacceptable welds, and reporting on deviations from specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct visual weld inspections to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Recognise characteristics of good and unacceptable welds
  • Interpret drawings and symbols to report on specifications met or not met
  • Compile detailed inspection reports highlighting deviations from specifications

Requirements:

  • CSWIP Welding Inspector certification with experience as an Inspector
  • Experience of working with HSEQ and document control
  • Understanding of welding processes and standards
  • Passion for delivering quality projects to customers
  • Well-developed communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
