Specialist in Water Systems Engineering - Facilities Management Provider

We are thrilled to present a remarkable opportunity with a reputable Facilities Management provider. This role is centered around the management of water systems within a commercial environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a solid background in water systems management, complemented by plumbing expertise. Core Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular analytical assessments of cooling towers and closed-loop systems.
  • Maintain Log Book records.
  • Manage Chilled Water systems.
  • Oversee maintenance of cooling towers.
  • Experience with closed systems.
  • Implement water flushing procedures.
  • Disinfect mains water pipes and both hot and cold water systems as necessary.
  • Handle chemical dosing and management.
  • Perform surveys on hot and cold water systems.
  • Basic plumbing tasks.
  • Repair pipework and address leaks.
  • Execute minor plumbing tasks such as dead leg removal.
  • Carry out general maintenance of the building.
  • Knowledge of Calorifiers, Cooling Towers, Circulation pumps, Temperature tests, Tank Cleans, Chlorination, Water softeners, Cold water storage tanks, and Dip Slides.
Working Hours

Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 08:00 am to 17:00 pm.

Qualifications
  • City and Guilds certification in Plumbing.
  • City and Guilds certification in Water Treatment.
  • City and Guilds certification in Legionella control within hot and cold water systems.
  • Proven experience in water system maintenance and remediation.
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation and guidance materials.
  • Comprehensive training and knowledge in the field.
