A fantastic new role has become available for a Claims Handler to join a leading independent insurance brokerage in Bolton.

This is a great opportunity to join a highly reputable team and contribute to the success of a specialist claims team.
The Claims Handler position would involve managing a portfolio of commercial claims on behalf of clients, supporting them throughout the full insurance claims cycle.
You will be responsible for handling new claims enquiries, liaising with insurers, and keeping the customer informed throughout the process.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a good grounding in the insurance sector, although commercial claims experience is not a necessary requirement.
We are keen to hear from individuals with experience in Motor Claims or Personal Lines who are eager to advance their careers in commercial insurance claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of commercial claims, ensuring efficient and timely resolution.
- Liaise with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and keep all parties informed of progress.
- Assess claims details, review documentation, and negotiate settlements.
- Provide clients with expert advice and support throughout the claims process.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Continuously develop knowledge of insurance products and claims procedures.
About You:
- You will have some experience and a good grounding in insurance.
- We are keen to hear from individuals with experience in Motor Claims or Personal Lines who are eager to advance their careers in commercial insurance claims.
- You have a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in every task.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, as you will be dealing with clients and insurers on a regular basis.
