Job Title: Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Severn Trent. As a key member of our Waste Water Recycling team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our treatment processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and assets, including pressure, level, flow, and temperature monitoring systems.
  • Continuously improve the instrumentation asset base and control systems.
  • Perform fault finding and diagnostics to identify and resolve issues.
  • Interpret and update technical drawings to ensure accurate installation and maintenance.
  • Support the design and build of new processes and systems.
  • Own and manage site automation and control processes.
  • Monitor treatment processes using SCADA systems and respond to alarms as required.
  • Proactively review the health and availability of assets on site.
  • Conduct on-site testing to validate process and ensure online monitors are functioning correctly.
  • Proactively order consumables and spares to minimize downtime.
Requirements:
  • NVQ level Instrumentation & Electrical qualification.
  • Experience and skills in PLCs, control equipment, or commissioning activities.
  • A full UK driving license is required for the role.
