MaxAd Recruitment Ltd is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Inside Sales Executive who excels in building and maintaining commercial relationships while driving sustainable revenue growth. This role involves identifying new B2B sales opportunities within an established customer base and pursuing new business development initiatives.


Our client is dedicated to offering a comprehensive solution for the flooring needs of their clients. With an extensive inventory of underlay and flooring accessories, they ensure that customer requirements are met consistently.


The successful candidate will possess robust telephone sales experience and will serve as the primary contact for both new and existing customers regarding market-leading underlay and accessory products. The position will focus on fostering and enhancing long-term customer relationships, promoting cross-selling and upselling, and expanding accounts.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively seek, pursue, and maintain a steady pipeline of potential clients.
  • Conduct outbound B2B sales activities to maximize all sales opportunities effectively.
  • Manage existing accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction while identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to stimulate sales growth.
  • Enhance customer accounts and increase spending through strategic selling.
  • Follow up on quotes and CRM tasks while scheduling appointments.
  • Dedicate a minimum of 6 hours daily to outbound calls to existing customers and prospects, aiming for over 80 calls per day.
  • Leverage any promotional campaigns with customers.
  • Promptly record and address incoming pricing requests.
  • Maintain customer relations and update the CRM system with every customer interaction.
  • Build a pipeline of inquiries on the CRM and advance them to completion.
  • Handle incoming calls during peak times and address customer service requests, including order processing, while identifying cross-selling opportunities.
  • Coordinate with transport and stock control regarding customer inquiries.



Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in B2B/Trade Sales account management and new business development, primarily through outbound telephone activities.
  • Familiarity with the flooring industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Exceptional communication, attention to detail, and customer service abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Strong business acumen with the capacity to identify new business prospects.
  • Outstanding organizational and multitasking capabilities.
  • Sales negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Strong analytical and numerical competencies.
  • Excellent communication skills, including listening and questioning.
  • A determined focus on achieving goals and targets.
  • Professional demeanor, demonstrating pride in effective and efficient operations.
  • A proactive individual with aspirations for increased responsibilities within the organization.
