Job Description:

A leading group in the payroll and HR recruitment sector is seeking a highly skilled French Payroll Specialist to join their busy team. The successful candidate will play a key role within the Shared Service function for EMEIA, responsible for the French Payroll.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Processing of high-volume French payroll, including statutory payments such as Statutory Sick Pay, Statutory Maternity Pay, PAYE, and National Insurance.
  • Processing of Year End procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Providing 1st line support for payroll queries, responding to employee and management inquiries.
  • Processing Tax Code changes, ensuring up-to-date records.
  • Ability to process manual calculations, requiring strong analytical skills.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years' experience working in a busy payroll function, with a strong understanding of French Payroll legislation.
  • Fluent in French and English, with a high level of proficiency in both languages.
  • Payroll qualification preferred, but not essential.
