Job Title: Civil Engineer

Our client, Milford Rail and Engineering Services Ltd, is a well-established engineering specialist delivering multidisciplinary works across the country. They are currently seeking a skilled Civil Design Engineer to support their ongoing rail projects.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with experience in rail design and construction. They will be responsible for designing and developing civil engineering solutions for rail projects, working closely with the project team to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop civil engineering solutions for rail projects, including track, bridges, and tunnels.
  2. Collaborate with the project team to ensure that designs meet the client's requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.
  3. Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure that work is being carried out in accordance with the design.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other project team members.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  2. Experience in rail design and construction, preferably with a UK-based company.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and project team members.
  4. Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or MicroStation.
